Shimla, Dr Sikander Kumar Rajya Sabha Member of parliament took part in a har ghar tiranga programme organised at BJP headquarters chakkar.
BJP State and district office bearers took part in the har ghar tiranga programme.
A Pheri was also taken out where “bharat mata ki jai” slogan resounded. The residents of the locality were also happy to see the pheri.
Dr Sinkander Kumar said that this is for the first time in history of our country that such an event is taking place. This programme is a dream come true for our prime minister Narendra Modi.
He said today India is celebrating 75 years of independence and himachal is also playing a vital role in the same. Himachal is all excited for the har ghar tiranga programme and people are hoisting the national falg at the houses and work places.
He said that the youth is getting aware of the enormous history of our freedom struggle and the freedom fighters.
BJP leaders Sanjay sood, pyar Singh kanwar, kusum sadret, karan nanda, Ravi mehta, pradeep kashyap, jitender Bhotka, lalit thakur, Rama thakur also took part in the programme.
